Toyota Motor Corporation is
the biggest car manufacturer not just in Japan but also in the world. The
company has successfully evolved from a local automobile firm into a
multinational corporation that it is right now. The company created its first
vehicle in 1934, a type A engine automobile. In 1936, the first passenger car of
the company was unveiled, the Toyota AA.
Toyota
started the era of the modern family car in 1966 through its legendary Corolla
model. Since then, the car model has continued to evolve under Toyota's
philosophy of staying ahead. From the Corolla, Toyota developed and introduced
other popular and important car models like the Camry, Yaris, Vios and many
more. It has also ventured into other types of vehicles to promote diversity,
like sports utility vehicles and even trucks, which are popular in North
America.
Performance is a main concern for Toyota. That is why it has made sure it would
be using the best and most effective engines. Even the current hybrid or
fuel-efficient versions of Toyota's models are equipped with the most capable
and outstanding car engines.
In terms of overall design,
Toyota is recognizing the fact that car buyers' preferences and demands are
diversifying. Through the years, the company, more than any other, has realized
that drivers are not very satisfied with vehicles that are just fast and
comfortable. Toyota has made it a tradition to make vehicles that are meeting
consumers' requirements about safety, social responsibility and ecology.
Toyota's designers are spending time, effort and costs to face the paradox of
diversity.
